Guild Con FEVER! PAX and DragonCon

This weekend you can catch a screening of The Guild on BOTH COASTS!

First, in Seattle! At the Penny Arcade Expo, catch a 9pm screening of The Guild Season 1 on Friday night in the Raven Theatre! Codex and Zaboo will be in attendance and have a short Q & A afterwards. It will be the first live screening they will attend so it’s very exciting!

In addition, they will be signing and selling DVDs at PAX in a booth Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Check back tomorrow for specific signing times and booth location! Please stop by and say hi at least!

ALSO Check out a screening that SAME NIGHT of Zaboo’s web show “Legend of Neil!” It’sscreening at 12:30am in the Walrus theatre on Friday, so you can see BOTH!

And at DragonCon in Atlanta, Guild champion Jamie Chambers of Margaret Weis Productions AGAIN has arranged a screening of The Guild Season 1 for attendees!!

Sandeep and Codex will be attempting a live chat intro of the screening, so any questions you have come prepared to ask them (as long as there’s a wifi connection they’ll be ready!)

Jamie also has SIGNED DVDs of The Guild Season 1 available for purchase during the Con! Their booth is located at the Marriot Imperial Ballroom, Booth #1304.

Guild in Translation

We are very lucky because we have an international fan base for our show! We now have 5 languages in the works for Guild translations!

Dani from Brazil was the first to translate the whole first season: In Portuguese! Check out watchtheguildbrazil on YouTube to see her work. Already we’ve gotten a lot of Brazilian blogs interested in the show through her translated episodes, so thank you Dani!

Brand new, Luis from Spain has just uploaded the first 4 Episodes in Spanish at watchtheguildspanish! Thank you Luis for your quick work!

We currently have Chinese, Dutch, French German and Hebrew in the works. If you have another language you’d like to help with, please contact us through the site! Translators are provided a script and episodes to work with, but the translators apply the subtitles themselves. WithSwedish only 4 episodes have been done in this language, so we’re looking for help to finish the rest of the season.

We are overwhelmed right now with the number of fantastic volunteers who have contacted us in the last day! We wish we could use each and every one of you! We will be going through the emails and contacting people individually based on our needs, and we will be setting up meetings for some LA folks. Thank you again so much!!
